Appointment of new Commissioners to the General Election Commission of Mongolia

The meeting of the Standing Committee on State Structure of the Parliament held on 08th January 2020 discussed the issues related to releasing of non-full time Commissioners whose term has finished and to appoint new Commissioners. Then the opinion concluded from the meeting discussed during the Parliamentary session where approved nominated candidates as new Commissioners to the General Election Commission of Mongolia in pursuant to the to the article 4.2 of the Law on Central Election Body and article 45.2 of the Law on the Rules of the Procedure of the Parliament Session.

New Commissioners of the General Election Commission are: Mr.B.Ganbat, Deputy Chief of the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of Mongolia, Ms.G.Baigalmaa, Deputy Chief of the Office of the President of Mongolia, Mr.E.Batbold, Director of the Strategy and Policy Planning Department, Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry of Mongolia, Mr.D.Bayanduuren, Head of Administration Office of the General Election Commission of Mongolia and Mr.O.Amgalanbaatar, Executive Secretary, Judicial General Council of Mongolia.
