Two trainers in each of the 21 provinces and nine districts of Ulaanbaatar were trained on increasing election participation and turnout, capacity building citizens and voters, explaining and introducing election laws and regulations and to disseminate electoral education, trained a total of 1500 young voters at the national level.
The General Election Commission of Mongolia in cooperation with the UNDP conducted a training of trainers from 3rd to 8th of this month under the “Responsible Voter” project where more than 50 officials were appointed as trainers of the Information, Research and Training Centre of the General Election Commission of Mongolia. The trainers will conduct trainings in their respective provinces and districts.
