“ELECTORAL EDUCATION” JOURNAL’S FIRST EDITION OF 2023 PUBLISHED

The General Election Commission of Mongolia published its “Electoral Education” journal for its second year pursuant to its roles and responsibilities under the Law on Central Election Body. The quarterly journal with the objectives to explain legislation on public referendum and elections, increase voters’ education, develop training and research and to provide voters’ with information have published its first edition of 2023.

In this edition, articles on “Electoral legislation, its sources” by Chimid Byaraa, founder of the Constitution of Mongolia, forum on “Monitoring and transparency of Voter’s List” by state and civil society actors, article on election history, interview on “Importance of voters’ having correct and true information, casting their vote and participation”, Election administration and calendar of 2023 re-election and by-election of Provincial, Capital, Soum and District Citizen Representative Khurals, research on “Women’s participation in decision-making”, assessment of the human rights of the 2021 Presidential Election of Mongolia, electoral open data, success stories of trainers of the “Responsible Voters’” project and 2023 global election calendar were published.
