Registered candidates are receiving their Accreditation cards

As stated in the Article 32.2; 32.3 of the Law on State Great Hural election of Mongolia, the General Election Commission made a decision to register overall 485 candidates proposed by 13 parties and coalition and 121 independents to run for 2020 Parliamentary regular election after the reviewing process of the submitted documents’ completeness and its accuracy. The resolution was issued for the registered candidates. Today, on 2nd June the registered candidates are receiving their Accreditation Card on the day of election campaign to be launched by legal timeframe.

There are overall 606 candidates received their Accreditation Cards where 76 from Mongolian People’s Party, 76 from Democratic Party, 15 from Mongolian Green Party, 74 from Yours and Our Coalition /Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party, Civil Will Green Party, Mongolian Tradition’s United Party/, 72 from “NEW Party United Coalition Party for Fair Citizen, Republican Party, True and Right Party, Mongolian National Democratic Party’s NEW COALITION”, 53 from Right Person Electorate Coalition /National Labor Party, Mongolian Social Democratic Party, Justice Party/, 1 from People’s Party, 13 from Freedom for People Party, 7 from Development Program Party, 1 from United Patriots Party, 34 from Sahigtun! Constitution 19 coalition /Mongolian Conservative Party, Mongolian Party For the Good of Human/, 1 from Love the People Party, 30 from Demos Party, 3 from World Mongols Party, 24 from People’s Majority Governance Party, 1 from The Great Unity Party, 4 from Ger District Development Party and 121 independent candidates and by gender 455 (75,08%) candidates were men and 151 (24,92%) out of 606 candidates were women.
